Coaching is a supportive, yet creatively challenging, relationship with somebody who has your best interests at heart but isn’t your friend; so will work with you in an unbiased way to achieve your goals and be your best self both at work and in the rest of your life.

ONE-TO-ONE COACHING

How We Could Work Together

We will work together for a minimum of eight hours – how long and how frequent those sessions are entirely depends on where we are in our journey together. Typically we find that people start with a two-hour face-to-face deep-dive session and follow up with 45-minute sessions once a fortnight for around 3 months. Some people prefer shorter and more frequent coaching sessions. When you coach with us you buy a day’s coaching of 8 hours and we agree how best to spend that time, adapting as we need to on the way. Some people find one day of coaching is all they need and others carry on with more coaching until they get to where they need to be.

Typically we coach together in three stages:

GETTING STARTED
We start with an initial session to enable us to agree coaching objectives. During coaching we will use these objectives as a framework and work together with you towards their achievement. If you have an organisation sponsor, such as your line manager, we welcome their input into framing these objectives. Your success through our coaching relationship is also the organisation’s success.

ONGOING COACHING
Coaching will either be face-to-face or by video conference. Typically each session will last up to 45 minutes. Longer or shorter sessions can be scheduled according to where we are on your coaching journey. You will be asked at the start of each session to set the agenda based on what’s most powerfully present at that moment, always bearing in mind the coaching objectives. Frequently each session will begin with a review of developments since last session and updates on any promised actions.

COMPLETE & MOVE FORWARDS
At the end of a full day’s coaching spread over the time period we agree, we can either carry on or, like most people, complete and move forwards. We have a final face-to-face session to review our coaching, performance against objectives, and what impact coaching has had on you. Then we will create a 90-day post-coaching plan so that you can continue with the changes made and momentum created through us working together.
