Forest Bathing for Organisational Wellbeing
Enjoy our therapeutic experience in woodland, mixed with classroom training to fully support your experience. Forest Bathing is an elementary practice which can elicit surprisingly profound positive reactions. It can be described as mindful time spent under the canopy of trees using the senses. Deep breathing is also encouraged; Japanese research has uncovered that essential wood oils help boost our immune system. We include a relaxation and mindfulness exercise during the outdoor session, to truly experience the benefit of learnings from the classroom.
Some of the scientifically proven benefits of spending time in woodland include reduced stress levels, stronger immune system response, and a stabilised cortisol cycle. During this session you will be provided with a sequence of sensory exercises designed to calm the body and mind. If you have ever wondered about the healing benefits of nature, this day will show you what is possible.
The course can host a team of up to 12 people.

Why Forest Bathing?
Forest Bathing is the English translation of the Japanese term ‘Shinrin-yoku’. To better understand this entire concept more accurately, it means ‘spending quality time, under the canopy of trees in a forest, for health and wellbeing purposes’. In Japan there is a large body of data to show that Forest Bathing can:
- Reduce blood pressure
- Lower stress and cortisol levels
- Improve cardiovascular and metabolic health
- Help lose weight
- Lower blood-sugar levels
