DAY WORKSHOP

MENTAL HEALTH WELLBEING
We all know that healthy eating, exercising and enough good sleep are essential to being well, but what are the keys to good mental health, and are we doing enough daily to ensure mentally we are in good shape?

INTRODUCTION

Taking Responsibility for Your Mental Health

Maintaining good mental health and wellbeing at work has never been more important. Most of us work in fast-paced environments, on a number of projects, and in many teams. The Business Buddha has developed a one-day workshop which will provide practical advice and tools for your employees to take care of their own mental health wellbeing, and encourage ways of working which supports the wellbeing of others.

We help companies to develop more effective leaders, and to build resilience among staff so they cope better under stress. We work with teams to enable them to function at a higher level. Being a healthy leader will bring wellbeing and balance within your team. We work with organisations to access untapped creativity and help navigate culture change. This day workshop will provide a comprehensive guide on how you can easily look after your mental health in order to reduce stress, reconnect with your inner self and improve your relationships. This workshop offers a general view on wellbeing and links it deeply to an office environment and work situations, so it benefits both on a personal and professional level.

This workshop can accommodate up to 20 people and can either be in-house or at an external location.

MENTAL HEALTH WELLBEING

Why Encourage Mental Health Wellbeing Responsibility?

We are usually quick to deal with a physical injury, however many of us have a tendency to ignore mental health problems – especially those related to work. There are so many aspects to wellbeing at work. From our experiences we have found that it is helpful to give insights and practical tools in:

  • Understanding the drivers of positive Mental Health Wellbeing
  • How to build healthy relationships
  • How to healthily deal with emotional tension
  • How to overcome the two biggest blocks to success and happiness: fear of failure and rejection
  • An introduction to mindfulness

The benefits of improved Mental Health Wellbeing for both individuals and organisation include:

  • Reduced stress and reduced absences
  • Increased self-esteem and sense of wellbeing
  • Increased job satisfaction
  • Increased productivity levels
  • Improved employee morale
  • Greater engagement between employees
  • Increased skills and desire to develop

Greater wellbeing at work is far less draining and stressful for individuals and the people they live with and care for; encouraging people to make the most of the relationships that really matter.

CASE STUDY

Mental Health Wellbeing

Responsibility for our wellbeing starts with ourselves. It’s all too easy to focus on our physical health and not enough on our mental wellbeing. The pressures and stresses of work can have very negative impacts on both our performance at work, and our general happiness. Organisations can help individuals by giving them insights and practical tools for employees to take active responsibility for their Mental Health Wellbeing. Using techniques such as mindfulness, emotional resilience building, and other tools, employees find they can proactively manage their mental wellbeing. Teams that have a common understanding of negative mental health triggers and have shared ways of addressing them, work together more effectively, productively and creatively.
